Words of Wisdom:

thomasjefferson1

Honor, justice, and humanity, forbid us tamely to surrender that freedom which we received from our gallant ancestors, and which our innocent posterity have a right to receive from us.

Thomas Jefferson - 1775

samadams1

A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the whole force of the common enemy.

Samuel Adams - 1779

georgewashington1

Your love of liberty — your respect for the laws — your habits of industry — and your practice of the moral and religious obligations, are the strongest claims to national and individual happiness.

George Washington - 1789

noahwebster1

Every child in America should be acquainted with his own country... As soon as he opens his lips, he should rehearse [its] history.

Noah Webster - 1788

johnadams1

A Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever.

John Adams - 1775

thomaspaine1

These are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.

Thomas Paine - 1776

jamesmadison1

The right of freely examining public characters and measures, and of free communication among the people thereon... has ever been justly deemed the only effectual guardian of every other right.

James Madison 1798
